Attestation is the process of authenticating any valuable document with stamp and signature by a designated officer which denotes validity. This is a compulsory procedure for immigration as well as to use those certificate in the country for education, employment, commercial purposes etc. Before, attestation was not required, you could submit your original certificate, but then people started submitting fake documents for their job, studies etc. They were not having the requisite qualifications, but faked them. The person who lacks the skill to continue the position and put out for the role, will have to leave the country. This started happening again and again, and then this particular process came into existence. Today, if anyone use fake certificate, they will be expelled from the country and sometimes punished very hard.
